What is adult foster care like?
In these safe, comfortable group residences, four adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live together. Each person has his or her own bedroom, and enjoys the support and supervision of caring staff 24 hours a day. Staff at each residence provide supervision and training based on each person’s individual needs and plan. Each home is licensed as adult foster care, and services are funded by the Medicaid waiver.
