The Minnesota Department of Human Services will introduce new Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) program in 2020.
The Department of Human Services is working on a new service called Community First Services and Supports (CFSS), which will replace the current Personal Care Assistance (PCA) program in Minnesota. They plan to start rolling out this new service in the middle of 2020.
The first service that people will need is the Consultation Service. This is a service that will help individuals understand the difference between PCA and CFSS, the different models for the program, and assist with developing a person-centered support plan for the service. Community Involvement Programs plans to respond to a Request for Proposal to become a Consultation Service provider. Please continue to check back on our website for more information.
